Our experience with Reeltime Videoworks has been very positive and we are very satisfied with both the quality of the product and the process of making our Hospice DVDs. The Hospice DVD project involved creating a 10 minute DVD in English, Chinese and Punjabi to inform patients and families about our Vancouver Coastal Health hospices. Reeltime Videoworks provided us with an excellent product at a competitive price and the project was completed in a timely way, within budget.
The technical staff involved in developing the scripts and arranging the filming found Reeltime Videoworks to be very responsive to our needs, communicating regularly throughout the project to keep us well informed of the DVD’s progress. Their knowledge of the video business was evident in both their ability to help us clarify our expectations and their suggestions to enhance the quality of our product. They provided a realistic timeframe for the filming and completion, all the while accommodating any necessary changes in dates and times. Given the nature of our work, we had concerns about our clients’ privacy and comfort. Reeltime Videoworks respected the need for client privacy and confidentiality, and filmed in all the facilities with very little disruption, thus eliminating these concerns.

We created a clear plan of action for both of us which created much relief and allowed me to feel a part of the process and more confident when we filmed.

BGEA Television and Event Production Department hired Reeltime Videoworks for two projects in the greater Vancouver area, in April and May of 2010. We were looking for Sony EX camera equipment and qualified personnel, and their company came up as I searched the internet. While I was a bit nervous to contract with someone that I had no prior experience with, I went ahead and called them for our job.
Our jobs turned out so much better than I could have ever expected. Sue Greening was professional and detailed oriented, asking so many good questions and giving great advice to assist in our shoot. The personnel hired to operate the equipment were professional and courteous, and the video quality of the shots was outstanding. Our job was happened over a two day period, with the potential for overtime and long hours. Reeltime Videoworks stayed within the budgets that were agreed upon, and even helped out in transferring data (digital video footage) onto multiple hard drives after the shoot was completed.
Our staff producer came back with rave reviews of the quality of the staff and equipment of Reeltime Videoworks. With Don’s twenty plus years of broadcast experience, and Sue’s eye for coordination and detail, I would have the utmost of confidence in hiring and using Reeltime Videoworks in the future.
Reeltime Videoworks were hired to produce the live-action portion of a video series I was working on. I’m not very comfortable in front of a camera, but the Reeltime team made me feel at ease and we ended up with a product that is now sold to thousands of viewers worldwide.
BC Dairy Foundation has worked with Reeltime Videoworks since 2006 to produce several videos / DVDs of our annual nutrition forum for health professionals. Typically this forum is 3 1/2 hours in length and includes up to six different speakers participating in keynote and panel presentations., and discussions with the audience.
